Hotel for the Community Oncology Conference 2023


COA’s discounted hotel room block has sold out early in past years. Reservations to obtain the hotel room block rate must be made through the link provided in your registration confirmation email. The COA room block rate for the hotel is $271.00 a night inclusive of a $30.00 mandatory resort fee and applicable state and local taxes. Extra person charge is $20.00 per night; 12 and under are free. Subject to availability; these rates are available three (3) days prior and three (3) days after the meeting, should you choose to extend your stay. You will have the option to upgrade when making your reservation. The hotel room block cut-off date is 5:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, February 26, 2023. First come; first served.

Blocks of rooms cannot be held for a company or group. Rooms are for registered attendees only and will be monitored weekly. If someone is on the rooming list but is not registered for the Conference, this person will be removed for the room block and will need to reserve a room once they have registered for the Conference.

The closest airport to the hotel is the Orlando National Airport (MCO). Unless you are a Co-Chair or Speaker, you are responsible for scheduling your own airfare and ground transportation to and from the Conference. COA does not schedule or cover these expenses.

Ground Transportation Options

The Gaylord Palms hotel does not provide airport shuttle service; therefore, we suggest using a taxi or Uber. If you prefer not to take a taxi or Uber, alternate transportation may be arranged via Mears Transportation:

If you chose to drive, there is a parking fee. Currently it is $30.00 for self-parking and $40.00 for valet parking plus applicable tax.

You may check in at 4:00 p.m. local time. Check-out time is at 11:00 a.m. local time. If you check out later than 11:00 a.m., you may incur late charges.

Discounted Disney Tickets

As an attendee of the 2023 Community Oncology Conference, you are able to purchase specially priced Disney Meeting/Convention Theme Park tickets. The cut-off date for advance purchase savings is March 18, 2023.

Please note: With the new Disney Theme Park Reservation System and park capacity limitations, it’s important to lock in your visit as soon as possible. A park reservation is required for entry along with the ticket.
